Method

The method of providing services has it’s foundation described in the business name, LiveWindowsTraining. In most instances the following will be true of video content:

  • Videos will be created during live training sessions between the consultant and the client.
  • Videos will be conducted via live streaming sessions unless being recorded live for broadcast at a later time.
  • Most content will be focused on the Windows operating system for small business and home computers. Some peripheral content associated with personal computers will occur.
  • Little to no editing will be done. Mistakes and struggles will be shown as they occur. Editing will only be used only to improve the value to viewers.
  • Live streaming of training and repair sessions will provide a level of safety to the client since many educated eyes will likely be watching.
  • Sessions will only be conducted with web retainer clients and persons directly known to the consultant. This will discourage trolls and haters from finding their way on to a live stream.
  • Clients wanting to be on a live session will initiate communications by sending an email to the consultant as instructed in other places on this website.
  • The demeanor of video sessions will be more relaxed and conversational than a typical on-site session for a local client where the client is being charged by the hour.
  • The instructional style of video sessions will include content above and below the skill level of the participating client because of the wide variety of skill levels likely to be watching.
  • Viewers will be encouraged to learn the content that is at their level of comprehension and not to worry about content they don’t understand at this time.
  • Viewers will be invited to question further explanation of content via chat or other methods as available.
  • eMail questions received since the prior live-stream sessions will be answered in the first available live-stream session after receipt.
  • Participants in live stream and chat will be encouraged to ask “any question, any time”. This is in response to a common fear among users that their question might be dumb. That fear needs to be overcome at every opportunity.

Other

Many other methods of accomplishing Windows Training will be utilized and not detailed in this business plan. Those other methods will all be in support of the live streaming sessions.
